Jimmy Carter Promoting Peace

Appearing at a film festival where a biopic of the "Man from Plains" was being premiered, former President Jimmy Carter offered a stinging criticism of current U.S. foreign policy. Here's a quote:

"I worship Christ who was the prince of peace, not pre-emptive war."

"A superpower like the United States should use all of its resources ... to promote peace," he said.

Jimmy Carter is soo right, and american people should be thankful to him but instead of that he is blamed very often till today for his peaceful policy and decent presidency. Why that? Does the Americans have inferiority complexes if their country doesn't air as the big and strong policeman of the world all the time? Shame on all these dumb Americans who think like this. I don't understand them in this case.

Jimmy Carter is a good man, and he was much too good to be your President! - May God bless him and his family and their precious work for peace and understanding and human rights.

Greetings from Germany,
Chris.
