Thanks to Bob Allen at Ethics Daily for calling attention to yet another silly response by Southern Baptists. Southern Baptist volunteers serving hot meals to the victims of Hurricane Wilma in Clewiston, Florida refused to give them cans of drinking water because it was donated by Anheuser-Busch, a beer distributor.
As a result, some of the victims had to travel three more miles to get water.
I'm going to pray that God will give Southern Baptists in Florida some common sense.
