The Times Online has posted a report that "Dollar Starts the Big Slide Against Major Currencies." Economists have been warning for some time that the U.S. faces a day of reckoning over its budget and trade deficits.
As the dollar declines, the price of almost everything will go up -- particularly the price of oil.
