Scapegoating Secularists: A Quiz

Politicians and preachers on the right have been scapegoating secularists for decades. Now, politicians and preachers on the left are joining them. Secularist is a smear word for those who expect the First Amendment to be interpreted strictly and who affirm separation of church and state.

Fred Clarkson has developed a enlightening quiz based on quotations from both the right and the left of the political spectrum. "Who's Secular Now?"

At present, both sides of the political spectrum seem to be triangulating the First Amendment right out of the U.S. Constitution.
