AFP is reporting that "US Considers Use of Nuclear Weapons Against Iran."
Symour Hersch has published an essay about "The Iran Plans" in the New Yorker that says the administration is considering using nuclear bunker-busting bombs in Iran.
A lot of this administration's evangelical Christian supporters think the battle of Armageddon is upon us. They also think they are going to be miraculously raptured out of the world so they won't have to live with the fallout.
Before the wars this administration starts are finished, my best guess is that the idea of a "pre-tribulation" rapture will have fallen out of favor.
