Is the U.S. Calibrating Nuclear Weaponry?

Truthout has posted a story from the Salt Lake Tribune about a test blast being planned for June in Nevada.

This certainly seems to be the kind of testing that would be done to calibrate the payload for a tactical nuclear weapon.

It's probably more of what the President calls "wild speculation" to wonder whether this has anything to do with Iran.

Meanwhile, an eighth retired U.S. General has called for Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld's resignation.

I don't suppose that any of this is related.
