How do they count SBC members these days? Do they count members of churches with dual allignment? Does it depend which BGCT giving plan the church subscribes to? Do they count churches that send their statistics to the SBC or do they count churches that report to the state conventions?
I ask because I can't relate to the numbers as reported anyway. If a member of a specific church was not a candidate for a Board of Trustees because the church had dual affiliations would they count that church? Do they count a church membership if the members are not acceptable for service in the SBC.
So I guess I would specifically ask, is a church like Park Cities Baptist (in Dallas) membership counted in the SBC. I guess Wilshire Baptist is not?
