Impeachment Impending

Raw Story is reporting that a coalition of citizen's groups are planning to ask Congress to file a Resolution of Inquiry, the first necessary legal step to determine whether President Bush has committed impeachable offenses in misleading the country about his decision to go to war in Iraq.

The memorandum from the coalition's constitutional lawyer asking Congress to file a Resolution of Inquiry has also been posted.

One can only hope, but I'm not holding my breath.

One could hope, but this Congress will never allow that to come to pass.

How dare these people to imply that our President may have done something that warrants impeachment? (Tongue in cheek).
I wonder how many that believed that lying about sexual immorality as grounds for impeachment would neglect taking this country to war and causing death and destruction for ideological grounds as something less important?

Yesterday it suddenly popped into my head that Bush would be impeached and Cheney would run as an incumbant. That that was part of "their" plan. Of course I generally dismiss these little "visions". Like back when I was a kid and Nixon and Kissenger went to China I thought, oh great, just what they've always wanted, Totalitarian Capitalism.
