Moyers on the Media and the Radical Right

Bill Moyers spoke at a conference on the media over the weekend. Common Dreams picked up a story that was published by the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Here's an interesting quote from the article:
Moyers said he knew his broadcasts have created a backlash in Washington.

"The more compelling our journalism, the angrier became the radical right of the Republican Party," he said.

"That's because the one thing they loath more than liberals is the truth. And the quickest way to be damned by them as liberal is to tell the truth."

And Jesus said, "You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free." Isn't it a shame that Christians would fear and fight the Truth.

greek shadow, since you and others here seem to have so little confidence in the Bible, where do you want them to go to find the Truth? Oh, I notice you quoted the Word, but it is only right part of the time? I'm sorry, I believe the whole Book and all the time.
